Israel → Colorado
Colorado and Israel share a defining challenge: water scarcity in an arid, high-demand environment. This delegation brought together Colorado water technology leaders, utilities, and innovators for with Israel's world-leading water sector including drip irrigation pioneers, desalination infrastructure, and smart water management startups. Israeli founders returned with new partners, new perspectives, and a renewed appreciation for what Colorado-Israel collaboration can achieve in one of the world's most critical resource sectors.

WorldDenver IVLP Program
In partnership with WorldDenver and as part of the U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), CO-IL facilitated a high-level energy security delegation connecting Colorado energy leaders with their Israeli counterparts. The program explored Israel's pioneering work in energy resilience, grid security, and clean energy transitions, areas of growing strategic importance for Colorado. This delegation exemplified CO-IL's ability to bridge government, private sector, and civil society stakeholders across borders.

Colorado is home to more than 200 defense and aerospace companies, and Israel is one of the world's foremost aerospace and defense technology innovators. This delegation brought Colorado aerospace leaders together with Israeli entrepreneurs for meetings with leading defense-tech firms and space startups to foster new partnerships in an industry where both regions share deep strategic interests. From space-tech to UAVs to satellite systems, this Colorado-based mission opened doors that took partnerships beyond the initial meetings and are now building a lasting Colorado-Israel collaboration.
