We are Coloradans
We are Israelis
We Are The Colorado-Israel Chamber of Commerce
Connecting the Colorado-Israel Innovation Corridor
The Colorado-Israel Chamber of Commerce (COIL) is a nonprofit, nongovernmental membership organization dedicated to advancing the Colorado-Israel economic partnership. We serve as the representative voice and platform of the Colorado-Israel business community. We act as the gateway and destination for international trade, commerce, and innovation between Colorado and Israel as we foster economic collaboration and growth between both regions.
Two Organizations, One Mission
A chamber and institute that help companies navigate both ecosystems
The Colorado-Israel Chamber of Commerce (COIL) and the Colorado-Israel Economic Partnership Institute are complementary, legally distinct organizations with one shared mission: strengthening the Colorado-Israel economic relationship as a foundation for mutual growth, innovation, and security. The Chamber is a 501(c)(6) membership organization and business facilitator; the Institute is its 501(c)(3) charitable arm, supporting the partnership through research, education, and tax-deductible program investment.
Members join the Chamber for access to COIL’s bilateral network, BIRD Foundation facilitation, delegations, and sector-specific business development. Donors and foundations invest through the Institute to build the long-term infrastructure of the Colorado-Israel relationship.
Supercharging the Colorado-Israel Bilateral Relationship
Since 2024
Why Colorado?
Why Israel?
Colorado's Advanced Industries Meet Israel's Innovation Strengths
Colorado and Israel share more than geography separates them. Both economies are built on deep STEM talent, defense-adjacent technology, and a culture of entrepreneurial risk. COIL activates that overlap across six bilateral sector tracks:
Quantum Technologies
Connecting Colorado’s emerging quantum hub with Israel’s leaders in quantum sensing and applied R&D.
Water-Tech & AgriTech
Supporting Colorado’s water management expertise with Israel’s arid-climate innovation and agricultural technology.
Health-Tech & Life Sciences
Linking CU Anschutz and the state’s life sciences ecosystem with Tel Aviv’s digital health innovators.
Aerospace & Defense
Leveraging Colorado’s Space Command corridor with Israel’s aerospace, defense, and dual-use technology sectors.
Cybersecurity
Bridging Colorado’s cybersecurity community with Israel’s Unit 8200 alumni network and broader cyber innovation ecosystem.
Clean Energy & Climate Tech
Aligning Colorado’s energy transition priorities with Israel’s solar, storage, and climate innovation strengths.
What We Do
Facilitating Business Connection:
We coordinate pilot projects, commercial agreements, and technological partnerships that drive economic growth and innovation
Market Navigation:
We guide Israeli companies entering the North American market via Colorado's advanced industries corridor, and support Colorado companies establishing a presence in Israel and the broader MENA region, supported by on-the-ground expertise.
BIRD Foundation Facilitation:
As Colorado's official representative to the BIRD Foundation, the joint U.S.-Israel government fund supporting commercial R&D collaboration, COIL reviews grant suitability for member companies, identifies qualified Israeli collaborators, and guides applicants through the grant process.
Regulatory Compliance:
We help businesses understand and navigate the legal and regulatory landscapes of both markets, ensuring smooth operations and successful market entries.
Community Networking:
We provide a robust and diverse array of professional networking opportunities for our members and sponsors to promote and reach their business goals in the Colorado-Israel corridor.
Cultural Exchange:
We promote enriching cultural exchanges, fostering mutual understanding, and strong business relationships.

The Colorado-Israel Economic Partnership Institute
The Colorado-Israel Economic Partnership Institute (the COIL Institute) is the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the Colorado-Israel Chamber of Commerce. Designated as a 509(a)(3) public charity and approved by the IRS in 2025, the Institute advances the Colorado-Israel economic partnership through research, education, and programmatic investment that goes beyond what a membership organization alone can sustain.
The Institute is the vehicle for foundations, major donors, and corporate philanthropists who want to invest in the long-term infrastructure of the Colorado-Israel relationship. Contributions to the Institute are tax-deductible. If you lead a foundation, head a family office, or want to make a lasting investment in one of the most consequential bilateral relationships in American innovation, we want to speak with you.
