Colorado-Israel Connects
Colorado-Israel Connects is COIL’s unique fee-for-service program, an individually-tailored service designed to facilitate direct, personal, warm business introductions between industry leaders in Colorado and Israel.
COIL’s program connects Colorado industries, which lead the U.S. in sectors such as aerospace, quantum, climate-tech, and bioscience with Israel, the ‘Startup Nation’ setting global standards in tech, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

- $500 per qualified introduction starting at minimum four (4) introductions ($2,000).
Business Consultation
Our suite of services is designed to educate, guide, and empower organizations from Colorado and Israel with the goal of creating long-lasting collaborations that generate economic value. Central to our services is matchmaking-both business-to-business and business-to- government-complemented by import/export services, business coaching, and educational opportunities to familiarize members with each ecosystem.
CO-IL Partnership with the BIRD Foundation
COIL is the official representative in Colorado of the Israel–United States Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation, supporting joint innovation between U.S. and Israeli companies.
Through this partnership, qualified projects may receive up to $1.5 million in non-dilutive grant funding to accelerate research, development, and commercialization efforts across key industries.
COIL works closely with the BIRD Foundation to connect Colorado-based companies with Israeli partners and to assist them throughout the grant application and collaboration process, including partner matchmaking, project development support, and cross-border business facilitation.
This official partnership strengthens economic ties, drives technological advancement, and promotes long-term innovation between Colorado and Israel.

Denver Startup Week: Highlighting Colorado-Israel Innovation
At Denver Startup Week, COIL proudly hosted a dynamic panel discussion and exhibition, spotlighting the growing economic and technological ties between Colorado and Israel.
Moderated by COIL co-founder Jeremiah Baronberg, the panel featured moderator Jeremiah Baronberg, Co-Founder & Colorado Director of COIL, Chen Linchevski, Co-Founder of Iron Nation, Brian Friedman, President of Israel Investment Advisors, LLC, and Bob Witkow, CEO of Emet Surgical. Together, they shared invaluable insights on how Israel’s renowned startup ecosystem serves as a model for resilience, innovation, and economic growth, offering strategies to strengthen Colorado’s entrepreneurial landscape.
This impactful session not only celebrated the shared entrepreneurial spirit of Colorado and Israel but also set the stage for meaningful partnerships, underscoring COIL’s mission to foster collaboration and drive growth between these two thriving innovation ecosystems. And, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston was in attendance.
